Feed a fish

Believe it or not, the animals at Great Lakes Aquarium consume an average of 15 pounds of fish alone each day. That's more than 5550 pounds of fish each year. Maintaining a rich and consistent diet is integral to the health and vitality of all the animals that live here. The animals that live with us are our first priority and we work hard to provide them with a great home. Feeding the animals at Great Lakes Aquarium costs more than $30,000 a year. All that fish, produce, mice, shrimp and bugs add up so we need your help.

By participating in the Great Lakes Aquarium's "Feed a Fish" program, you help us support the feeding of your favorite animal and learn more about what it takes to keep that species healthy.

Our staff will send you pictures and information about the species you select. We will also provide you with quarterly updates on the activities of the animal you support. If desired your name will be added to our list of "Fish Feeding Friends" and posted at Great Lakes Aquarium.

The Feed a Fish program is a great way to engage your family, school group, or scout troop! Great Birthday Gift!
