The male otter weighs about 22 lbs.
22 lbs x 0.10 = 2.2 lbs of fish, cat food, carrots and other treats. - Did you know that seahorses can change colors to blend in with their surroundings? Can you think of other animals that can do that?
- Giant water bugs have a long mouth part called a "proboscis". It's like a long straw that they use for eating. These amazing aquatic insects stick this straw into something they want to eat, inject digestive juices and then slurp it all up. They have been known to eat frogs, fish and even small birds this way.
