Habitat:
Lakes, rivers, streams. Prefer quiet, shallow freshwater with thick mud.

Plants, fish, crustaceans, aquatic insects
Fun facts:
Gender is determined by egg incubation temperature as they lack sex hormones. Low temperature produces males, high produces females.
