Dark spots on blue, brown, green background. Silvery-white sides and underbelly. Redish stripe along side.
Habitat:
Cold water rivers, streams and lakes. This fish is native to the Pacific coast and has been introduced throughout North America.

Fish and aquatic invertebrates.

Unlike salmon, rainbow trout may survive several spawning cycles.
