Habitat:
Cold water rivers, streams and lakes. This fish is native to the Pacific coast and has been introduced throughout North America.

Diet:
Fish and aquatic invertebrates.

Fun facts:
Unlike salmon, rainbow trout may survive several spawning cycles.
