Physical features: Similar in appearance to perch with dark spots on body and fins. Rows of dark spots between the spines of the joined dorsal fin.
Habitat: Native to Eurasia. Invasive to the Great Lakes. Found in lakes, quiet pools and streams.
Diet: Aquatic invertebrates
Fun facts: Name rhymes with ?tough?. Competes for food and habitat with native fish. Do not return ruffe to the water if caught.
