Shipwrecks Alive!

Shipwrecks Alive! Opening July 2014

A brand new exhibit is under construction called Shipwrecks Alive! It will provide an in-depth look at the fascinating world of sunken ships and the diverse wildlife ecosystems they attract and sustain. The exhibit will focus on three unique examples of shipwrecks serving as underwater habitat in three very distinct and different parts of the world: Lake Superior, the South Pacific, and the Mediterranean Sea.

This project is funded in part by the State of Minnesota Legacy Amendment’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund in FY 2014.
