Shipwrecks Alive!, our brand new exhibit, opened in July 2014. It provides an in-depth look at the fascinating world of sunken ships and the diverse wildlife ecosystems they attract and sustain. The exhibit focuses on three unique examples of shipwrecks serving as underwater habitat in three very distinct and different parts of the world: Lake Superior, the South Pacific, and the Mediterranean Sea.
This project is funded in part by the State of Minnesota Legacy Amendment’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund in FY 2014.
