Physical features: Black head, white belly, iridescent tail and wing feathers.

Habitat: Open country with scattered trees.  Typically found in western United States with some groups moving further east or south.

Diet:  Insects, carrion, berries, seeds

Fun facts:  Related to crows and jays.  Able to problem solve, adapt to new situations, and mimic bird or human sounds.
