Open 10 am - 6 pm

Last ticket sold at 6:00 pm,
guests are welcome to stay until 7:00 pm.

The aquarium sometimes closes early to host special events. If planning a late afternoon visit, please call ahead to confirm closing times.

Lake Superior Magazine Publisher Paul Hayden will give a complete Lake Superior Circle Tour - in images and words.  FREE

July 18: 11:00 to 3:00, Lake Superior Day Weekend!!! 
Includes family activities and learning stations.  Drink Lake Superior water and challenge your senses in "Would You Drink This Water?".  FREE in front of Great Lakes Aquarium

Cub Scout Programming
Join us this summer on Tuesdays for Cub Scout programming. Come with a friend or your entire den to play games, meet new friends, and explore Great Lakes Aquarium while earning your Cub Scout credits.

BEARS: Tuesdays, August 3 or 10, 9:00 to 4:00, $19/day or $35 for both, limit is 16 scouts per day

WEBELOS: Tuesdays, August 17 or 24, 9:00 to 4:00, $19/day or $35 for both, limit is 16 scouts per day

Young Women in Science
2nd & 3rd graders: Join us this summer on Mondays for Great Lakes Aquarium's Young Women in Science Program.  Come with friends or meet new ones to play games, make crafts, dive into the world of science, and epxlore the aquarium all day.

August 2: Watching Wildlife & Plants

August 9: Earth and sky & Animals

August 16: Senses & Colors and Shapes

August 23: Water Everywhere & Eco-Explorer

Each day is 9:00 to 4:00, $15 per day or $55 for all four days, limit is 16 girls per day
