Polliwogs Kindergarten Program

This weekly class is an opportunity for 5 and 6 year-olds to gain hands-on, science-focused, summer enrichment. Child-directed play is at the center of early childhood at Great Lakes Aquarium. This curriculum promotes a deep connection with the natural world through observation and questioning skills, early math and literacy knowledge, social-emotional skills, hand-writing development, and much more.

Polliwogs meets once a week for a 90-minute class. Our experienced educators provide enriching opportunities, including exploration around the Aquarium, themed art projects, nature journaling, and animal encounters.
