Exhibit open as of June 21, 2019!

Raptor Ridge features the resident bald eagle and turkey vulture in a brand new space on the Aquarium’s second level. Nestled between Critter Corner and the Freshwater Forest, this space provides fresh air and weathering for the birds. Visitors are invited to observe these raptors and engage with staff to learn more about raptor life and care.

The exhibit showcases the unique adaptations raptors use to thrive on the North Shore of Lake Superior. It also provides a closer look at raptor rehabilitation and animal care at the Aquarium.

Learn more about how our lives intersect with these amazing birds – and what you can do to support their populations in the wild.
