Family Animal Care Day
December 27: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
$18/person ($15/person Aquarium members); Cost is capped at $60 per family.
Have you ever wanted to take a peek behind the scenes at the Aquarium with your family? Enjoy a morning taking the role of animal care staff, exploring behind the scenes, preparing food, meeting and feeding animals! All participants must be at least 5 years old; children must be accompanied by at least one adult participant.

Kindergarten – 2nd Grade

Feathers, Fur, Scales and Scutes
February 17 – 21: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
$229 ($199 for Aquarium members)
Humans are vertebrates – that means we have backbones! Fish, birds, reptiles, amphibians and mammals are all vertebrates. Campers will meet some of our vertebrate kin and examine their adaptations – how do they move? How do they stay warm? How do they stand out from the crowd? Campers must provide their own lunch and snacks. Campers will travel offsite on a field trip; families must provide booster seats for camper if desired.

Animals & Art
March 26 – 27: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
$93 ($79 for Aquarium members)
From Japanese gyotaku fish printing to painting with three phases of water, campers will spend their time making Aquarium-themed art, meeting animals and exploring exhibits. Campers must provide their own lunch and snacks.

3rd – 5th Grade

Animal Care
December 30 – 31: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
$93 ($79 for Aquarium members)
Learn what it takes to keep resident animals healthy and active. Go behind the scenes to prepare meals, clean exhibits, test water quality and more! Campers must provide their own lunch and snacks.

Wildlife Field Course
April 6 – 9: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
$186 ($158 for Aquarium members)
Become a field scientist for a week! Campers will develop a rich understanding of the wildlife that shares their back yard through animal encounters at the Aquarium and field trips to meet local wildlife experts. Campers must provide their own lunch and snacks.

6th – 8th Grade

SCUBA Try-It
January 17: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
$57 ($50 for Aquarium members)
Curious to try SCUBA diving? Campers will spend the morning playing games and experimenting to learn about the science of SCUBA, then travel to a local pool where campers will have the opportunity to try out SCUBA gear in the water. Campers must provide their own lunch and snacks.
