Organisms in the lake do not stay in one place all the time. Scientific investigations have shown us that creatures migrate up and down in the water column throughout the day. Through demonstrations and hands-on activities, students will understand how organisms are connected in Lake Superior, why organisms migrate up and down in the lake, and how scientists use the scientific method to answer questions about Lake Superior.
