Hours
The Aquarium is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Aquarium must be clear of visitors by 6 p.m. Please plan your visit so that you have plenty of time to explore before closing time.
Admission
- Adults: $20.00
- Seniors 62+: $19.00
- Children (age 3-17): $16.00
- Children 2 and under FREE!
Children age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Note: Online tickets are currently unavailable. Please purchase tickets at the front desk of Great Lakes Aquarium located at 353 Harbor Drive in Duluth, MN. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Limited Income Access
Discounted admission rates are available for adults providing a current EBT card or medical assistance card (including Minnesota Care and Wisconsin BadgerCare) and valid photo ID. All other children and adults in their party the day of the visit will also be admitted under the same discounted rate.
Guardians (i.e. parents, grandparents, foster parents) of children with medical assistance documentation may use the child’s designation to purchase reduced price tickets or membership for the attending group – even if the guardian(s) themselves are not medical or food assistance recipients.
Reduced-priced individual or family memberships are available for those providing the same documentation. These membership applications must be processed in person at the Great Lakes Aquarium ticketing desk.
Limited Income Access Tickets:
- Adults: $6
- Children: $4
- Children 2 and under are always free.

- 50% off current membership rates

Parking
Parking is available in the Great Lakes Aquarium parking lot for a fee. Prices subject to change for special event parking (posted the day of the event).
There are several accessible parking spaces directly in front of the Aquarium’s main entrance.
Please plan ahead if traveling with your pet. We do not recommend leaving your pet in your vehicle during your visit. Aquarium staff will alert law enforcement if an animal left in a vehicle is in distress.
